CAUTION: Right handed and left handed helical gears in the same module are designed to mesh as a pair, but they are not interchangeable with SH type helical gears.

NOTE: It is possible to perform secondary operations except on the tooth surfaces. Please exercise caution not to introduce bore and face runouts.

NOTE: The allowable torques shown in the table are calculated values according to JGMA Standards 401-01 and 402-01.The backlash values shown in the table are the theoretical values of a pair of identical gears in mesh. All dimensions shown in the above table(s) are listed in millimeters unless otherwise specified.

USEFUL HINT: Because these gears are not produced using the axial module, they are interchangeable with a pair of spur gears with the same center distance. The change to helical gears will result in reduction of gear noise and increase in gear strength.
