NOTE: The allowable torques shown in the table are the calculated values according to JGMA Standards 401-01 and 402-01. The backlash values shown in the table are the theoretical values of a pair of identical gears in mesh.

USEFUL HINT: If the tooth strength is not sufficient, it can be increased by approximately four times to HRC 4853 by induction hardening the tooth surfaces.
