CAUTION: Since the 10 tooth and 11 tooth gears are profile shifted (x=+0.5), the center distance values must be obtained by using the center distance formula for profile shifted spur gears.

The following tables present the center distances when a profile shifted module 1 spur gear (x=+0.5) with 10 or 11 teeth meshes with standard stock spur gear (x=0). Multiply the values shown by the module of gears for modules other than module 1.

NOTE: The allowable torques shown in the table are the calculated values according to JGMA Standards 401-01 and 402-01. The backlash values shown in the table are the theoretical values of a pair of identical gears in mesh.
