CAUTION: Ordering the correct helix is important. For a right hand pinion, use a left hand rack and vise versa.

NOTE: The allowable torques shown in the table are calculated values according to JGMA Standards 401-01 and 402-01.The backlash values shown in the table are the theoretical values of a pair of identical gears in mesh. All dimensions shown in the above table(s) are listed in millimeters unless otherwise specified.

USEFUL HINT: It is recommended that an SH type pinion be used with these racks when building a rack and pinion set. When using helical gears, the axial thrust force must be taken into consideration. Therefore, choose the bearings that can resist the axial load. For further information, please consult the technical section.
