CAUTION: Heat treating these worms is not recommended since it will introduce errors in the lead and pressure angles, producing poor gear mesh.
CAUTION: These worm gears are profile shifted to create the proper center distance.
CAUTION: BG1.25-20R1 and 20R2 are made of BC6.
NOTE: Allowable torques shown in the table are the calculated values according to JGMA Standards 405-01 when the worm is rotating at 600 rpm, The table below shows the allowable worm gear torques at selected worm speeds.
